Analysis of Underwriting Cycles in the Polish Insurance Market

Examined evidence of underwriting cycles in the Polish non-life insurance market in 2000–2024 using annual KNF data and AR(2) models. The analysis found some evidence of a cycle with an estimated length of approximately nine years, while highlighting the limitations of the evidence.
